Poopy Protest At Crissy Field For 'Freedom Rally'
Organizers of "Operation: Doggy Droppings" call their action civil disobedience.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As San Francisco residents hold their breaths waiting to see if violence erupts at a rally labeled as alt-right by opponents, they may also want to hold their noses. An organized effort is underway to leave canine excrement on Crissy Field in advance of the "Freedom Rally." That's right, dog poop.
A Facebook page calling on dog owners to save up the poop and spread it at the site of the planned rally has drawn widespread support. The posting tells participants, "Leave a gift for our Alt-Right friends. Take your dog to Crissy Field and let them do their business and be sure not to clean it up! Watch out for landmines, friends! We can get together Sunday and clean up the mess and hug each other!"
Organizer Tuffy Tuffington told The Guardian, "I just had this image of alt-right people stomping around in the poop...It seemed like a little bit of civil disobedience where we didn’t have to engage with them face to face."
