'Traumatic' Crash Forced Popular Japanese Punk Band To Cancel SF Show
The crash left the band members with significant injuries, including head trauma, according to a fundraiser.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A popular Japanese punk band was forced to cancel its Memorial Day show in San Francisco on Monday after all three band members suffered "traumatic injuries" during a crash in New Mexico earlier this month.
Peelander-Z was set to perform at the Bottom of the Hill event, but had to pull out after a semi-truck rear-ended them while touring in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The crash left each band member with injuries ranging from fractures to the spine, head trauma, and fractures, according to a GoFundMe started in support of the group.
