NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should know that a wind advisory remained in effect until 9 a.m. Monday for Bay Area hills and mountains. The advisory was issued for the Marin coastal range, North Bay interior mountains, Santa Cruz mountains, eastern Santa Clara hills and East Bay hills.

"Otherwise dry weather with a warming trend ahead of the holiday weekend," NWS Bay Area forecasters wrote Sunday.
