Reward Raised For Information In Bay Area Cold Case Killing: Police
Paula Brien, 25, was found dead after leaving a bar on June 18, 2001, police said.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police say they've increased the reward for any information that leads to the identification of a suspect in the slaying of a 25-year-old woman in the Bay Area more than 20 years ago.
Paula Brien was last seen alive leaving a San Francisco bar with an unknown man driving a red car on June 18, 2001, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
She was later found dead less than a mile away in the 400 block of Harriet Street, authorities said.

A reward for help in this case was already in effect. With the $25,000 increase authorized by the SFPD, the reward bulletin is now at $175,000.
Police described a person of interest as a White man who would have been between 35 and 40 years old in 2001. That person of interest is believed to be 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 200 pounds, with dark brown hair and deep-set eyes, police said.
