San Francisco International Arts Festival Returns With 12 Days Of Performances
The program will feature over 100 performances, featuring 50 ensembles from across the world.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The San Francisco International Arts Festival is back with 12 days of unique performances from a variety of mediums, including dancing, music and theater.
The festival, which is in its 23rd iteration, returns to the Mission District on April 29 and will run through May 10.
There will be over 50 ensembles from across the United States and eight countries performing throughout the festival, including Cirque Kikasse, a group of circus artists who put on a high-energy show showcasing acrobatics and "breathtaking balances, according to organizers.

"It has taken a couple of years, but we finally feel at home again in the Mission," Festival Director Andrew Wood said in a statement. "With 50 local companies featured, and augmented by top national and international artists such as Cirque Kikasse, Mufutau Yusuf, Kôdrô Aoussou Evry, Eryen Korath Ortiz, Ramiro Boero, and Leon Ingulsrud, traveling to San Francisco to share their work with our audience, the picture is positive and we are looking forward to a bright future for the festival and the City of San Francisco."
