San Francisco Man Identified As Victim of Crash
The motorcyclist died in a collision with a minivan in the Mission District.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - A motorcyclist who died after a collision with a minivan in San Francisco's Mission District on Friday night has been identified by the medical examiner's office as 52-year-old Leon Hall.
Officers responded at 9:42 p.m. Friday to a report of a collision at 16th and Harrison streets.
Investigators learned Hall, a San Francisco resident, was riding his motorcycle west on 16th Street while a 47-year-old man was driving the minivan east on 16th Street.

When the minivan turned left at Harrison Street, Hall struck the vehicle, police said.
He was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced dead, according to police.

The driver of the minivan was not arrested in connection with the collision, police said.
No other details about the case were immediately available.
