
NAPA, CA — A 28-year-old San Francisco man died in a three-vehicle collision Saturday night in unincorporated Napa County north of Napa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was a passenger in a 2015 Hyundai Sonata traveling south on state Highway 29 north of Washington Street around 8:50 p.m. when the Hyundai was struck head-on by a 2012 Dodge Avenger, according to the CHP.
The Dodge driver, a 53-year-old woman from Angwin, lost control of her vehicle on a right-hand curve and crossed the double-yellow lines, then sideswiped the left side of a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 truck before it struck the Hyundai, CHP officials said.

The San Francisco man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The Dodge driver, the Hyundai driver and another passenger in the Hyundai suffered major injuries and were taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa. The driver of the Dodge Ram was not injured, according to the CHP.
