Our land site was originally part of the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Following this renowned World’s Fair, a generous benefactor donated the empty block to the Ladies’ Protection and Relief Society. Julia Morgan, California’s first woman architect, designed the main building, completed in 1925. The Heritage site continues to be lovingly maintained and upgraded.
