Flooding Cleared: SF BART Station Reopens

Workers quickly solved the source of the problem.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The Civic Center BART station has reopened after workers solved a flooding problem, the transit agency said in an advisory. The flooding was on the station's concourse and platform levels, according to BART spokeswoman Anna Duckworth.

The flooding was apparently caused by a leak from the San Francisco Municipal Railway station above it, transit agency officials said.

The closure was announced at 2:49 p.m., with the advisory about reopening at 3:25 p.m.
