SF Muni To Test Central Subway Operations This Week
The Central Subway will open with special weekend-only service from 4th & Brannan and Chinatown-Rose Park stations on November 19.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco Muni riders can expect to see out-of-service trains running near 4th and Brannan streets as crews conduct mock service testing of the Central Subway Project.
SF Muni will be testing their service plan and infrastructure to prepare for the opening of the Central Subway Project, which will eventually extend the Metro T Third Link through SoMa, Union Square and Chinatown.
The Central Subway will open with special weekend-only service from 4th & Brannan and Chinatown-Rose Park stations on November 19. Service will increase to seven days a week in January 2023.
