Responding officers met with the 26-year-old and 41-year-old victims, who reported being followed to their vehicle by two armed suspects after shopping in Hayes Valley.
One of the victims, who was wearing an expensive wristwatch, was initially approached by the suspects, but he was able to lock himself inside his vehicle as the suspects tried to open the door.

Police said the suspects broke the window, but the victim was able to flee the scene.
The suspects then attempted to steal the second victim's wristwatch, which was also of high value, police said.
The suspects struck the victim several times with their fists, but ultimately did not get the watch.
Police said the suspects then fled toward their vehicle and brandished a firearm at a third victim. As the suspects got into their vehicle, the second victim tried to stop them, and he was then robbed of his watch.
The victim suffered injuries that were not considered life threatening during the incident.
Investigators were ultimately able to identify one of the suspects as Lagula, and warrants were issued for his arrest and to search his residence.
He was located Monday and was taken into custody without incident.
Police said he was wearing the stolen wristwatch, and it was recovered during his arrest.
During a search of his residence, investigators seized evidence related to the case and located an unregistered rifle at the residence.
