SF Police Offer $50K Reward For Arrest In Fatal Shooting Of Teenager

One year after a 16-year-old girl died in a shooting, police were still searching for a suspect and offering a hefty award.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Last July, a 45-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were shot and rushed to a local hospital. The woman survived but the girl did not — the shooter is still at large, police said.

Police are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person involved in the shooting, according to a release from the San Francisco Police Department.

On July 30, 2021, police responded to reports of a shooting on the unit block of Bertha Lane. Two female shooting victims were privately rushed to a hospital shortly after the report, police said.

Despite life saving efforts, Jaedah Tofaeono died of her injuries. The woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and survived the shooting.
