SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Someone in San Francisco will end November much richer than they started the month — one Powerball ticket was sold for Monday's drawing that matched the first five numbers but missed the Powerball. The ticket is worth $153,692.

If that seems paltry for a five-of-five match, California pays lotto winnings on a parimutuel basis. That means the prize is based on how much is bet. When the Powerball jackpot was over $1 billion, the five-of-five match was paying millions.

Some states pay a flat $1 million for the five-of-five.

The ticket worth $153,692 was sold at Miraloma Market at 755 Portola Drive. If you are the lucky winner, here is how to claim your prize.
