SF Shooting Victim Identified

He was killed late last month in the Mission District.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man killed in a shooting that also injured two others late last month in San Francisco's Mission District has been identified as 29-year-old Marcos Martin Interian, according to the city's medical examiner's office.

The victim, a San Francisco resident, was pronounced dead at the scene of the June 30 shooting, which occurred around 8:45 p.m. on Mission Street between 17th and 18th streets, police said.

Officers nearby initially responded after hearing gunshots in the area.

Two other men, both 20 years old, were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds not considered life-threatening, police said.

A description of the suspect and their vehicle was not immediately available.
