SAN FRANCISCO, CA â There may much to be thankful for even in a godawful year such as this.
But after its Thanksgiving Day debacle, itâs safe to say that for many of its customers, a San Francisco-based grocery delivery startup didnât make this yearâs list.

Chief Executive Bentley Hall blamed the fiasco on an outage at the companyâs warehouse in an apologetic Twitter thread in which he acknowledged being âdeeply disappointed by our failure to deliver all of our Thanksgiving groceries,â and said âI am fully responsible for the results.â

Good Eggs said it will issue refunds to impacted customers.
