Squabbling Seagulls: Photo Of The Day

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The sight of seagulls is ubiquitous in San Francisco. Claus Weisemann captured this group squabbling over food. "When we were walking back from Pier 39 to the Ferry Terminal, we saw this bunch of seagulls fighting for some kernels of food that somebody had thrown for them," Claus said in an email to Patch. "The picture captures how they all try to get their share, and you can imagine the noise they generated."
