NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should know that mild weather is expected this week.

"Look for quiet weather this week with mild days and cool night," NWS Bay Area forecasters wrote Sunday. "A pattern change takes hold by early next week with a return to wet and unsettled conditions."

In other news, inspectors from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District issued a public nuisance notice of violation to a Bay Area Chevron Refinery following an inspection. They had responded to a number of air quality odor complaints from people detecting a heavy petroleum or burnt tires odor.

A man surrendered to the FBI SWAT team after being barricaded in his home for more than eight hours. Chunliam Saechao, 40, will be booked on numerous felonies, including assault with a deadly weapon and attempted homicide of a police officer, authorities said.

Police arrested a man who was wanted on suspicion of pointing a gun at a woman during an argument. A loaded gun and methamphetamine were found in his fanny pack, police said.

Plus, a gas station in California sold two lucky tickets that both hit the jackpot for a Mega Millions drawing of nearly $400 million, lottery officials said. If the tickets were purchased by separate people, the players will split the $395 million prize and have the option of receiving $197.5 million in annual installments, or a lump sum cash payment of $94.3 million before taxes.
