Suspect Arrested In Fatal Tenderloin Shooting
A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a man Saturday morning in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a man Saturday morning in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood.
Witnesses of the shooting, which occurred in the 100 block of Leavenworth Street, directed police officers to a potential suspect in the area. The suspect was eventually located in the 300 block of Turk Street and detained after physically resisting the officers.
Investigators developed probable cause to arrest the suspect. He has been identified as Joe Walls, 28. He was transported to San Francisco County Jail and booked on a charge of homicide.

The shooting occurred at about 10:20 a.m., when officers witnessed the shooting. Officers administered medical aid to the shooting victim and paramedics soon arrived. The man was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
