​Suspect Arrested In Multiple Stabbings In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A suspect was arrested Saturday after two people suffered life-threatening stab wounds in San Francisco's Mission District, police said.

Firefighters were summoned at 5:02 p.m. to 3030 16th St., said Lt. Mariano Elias Jr., a spokesman for the department. The location is about half a block from the 16th Street BART station.

Two people were taken to a hospital with critical injuries, he said. A third received minor wounds.

Officers located a suspect and developed probable cause to arrest him, police said, without giving details.
