Suspect In San Francisco Armed Robberies Arrested

Police believe he committed 4 armed robberies and attempted a 5th over a three-week period.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police announced the arrest Thursday of an armed robbery suspect believed to have targeted 7-Eleven stores throughout San Francisco over a three-week period.

The suspect, 27-year-old Oakland man Mario Robinson, was arrested on July 17 on suspicion of robbery, second-degree burglary and attempted robbery. He remains in custody on $975,500 bail, according to jail records.

Police allege Robinson committed four armed robberies and an attempted a fifth exclusively at San Francisco 7-Eleven stores starting on June 16.

Robinson would allegedly walk into the stores calmly during business hours while wearing a ski mask, before brandishing a gun, according to police.
