Teen Falls To Death From San Francisco Cliff

Rescue crews on Thursday found her unconscious, officials said.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A 17-year-old girl who fell to her death Thursday from a cliff at San Francisco's Lands End had been identified as Victoria La Rocca of Corte Madera, according to the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office.

La Rocca fell from the cliff and into the water near the Lands End Labyrinth at about 6:30 p.m., according to San Francisco Fire Department spokesman Jonathan Baxter.

When rescue swimmers got to her they found her unconscious, secured her to a floatation device and took her to China Beach.

She was initially listed in critical condition.
