Teen Points Stolen Gun From SF At People During Park Fight: Police

MILLBRAE, CA — An 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of pointing a stolen handgun from San Francisco at multiple people during a fight at a Millbrae park, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday.

Deputies said they responded June 30 to Green Hills Park after receiving reports of a fight. When they arrived, a large group of people were leaving the area, according to the sheriff's office.

During the investigation, deputies learned one person involved in the fight pointed a loaded handgun at several people.

Using witness statements and video evidence, investigators identified the suspect as Aemilia A. Harper, 18, of San Bruno.

Deputies found Harper nearby and took her into custody without incident, the sheriff's office said.

Harper was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on suspicion of assault with a firearm, making criminal threats, carrying a concealed loaded firearm, possessing a loaded stolen firearm, exhibiting a concealable firearm in public and possessing a tear gas weapon, according to the sheriff's office.
