SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Rapid fire question: pepperoni pizza or meat and veggie combo?

You can settle the issue — and help kids at the same time — by participating in the fifth annual players’ seasonal pizzas promotion at Tony’s Coal Fired Pizza and Slice House, and Haight Street Slice House by Tony Gemignani here in San Francisco, or at two Tony Gemignani's locations in the East Bay.

13-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani and San Francisco Giants stars Brandon Belt and Alex Dickerson have teamed up to create seasonal pizzas, available for a limited time, in support of George Mark Children’s House.

George Mark Children’s House in San Leandro provides life affirming care for children with terminal illnesses, or for those who have chronic medical conditions. The care is family-centered in a compassionate, supportive atmosphere. The center also offers families Respite Care, End-of-Life Care, and Bereavement support.

Tony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Slice House is at 1556 Stockton St. You'll find authentic New Haven and Connecticut style pizza cooked in a genuine coal fired oven. The coal fired pizza is a 16″ pie with a medium thickness that runs evenly from the middle all the way out to the crust. In addition to the coal fire, customers can find classic New York style pizza by the slice. Just like in New York the pizza is 20″ and cut into 8 large slices—enjoy a little slice of the east coast in SF’s North Beach.

Haight Street Slice House by Tony Gemignani is at 1535 Haight St. It offers several pizzas by the slice made with artisan flours, authentic sauces, and seasonal ingredients.

By the way, the Giants Community Fund’s Junior Giants Baseball Program received the 2015 Commissioner’s Award for Philanthropic Excellence and the San Francisco Giants were named ESPN Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year in July of 2016.
