Transient Killed In San Francisco Identified
The victim was stabbed to death in the Tenderloin.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man killed in a stabbing in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood Monday morning has been identified as 47-year-old Robert Matthews, according to the medical examiner's office.
Police were called to the area of Jones Street and Golden Gate Avenue shortly after 8 a.m. on a report of a stabbing.
Matthews, who has no fixed address, was found on the street and treated by medics but was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the suspect is believed to be a man in his 30s but they have not announced any arrest in the case.
