Two People Killed, Two Wounded At Oakland Gathering Saturday

Identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

OAKLAND, CA — Oakland police say two people were shot and killed and two were wounded Saturday night just before 10 p.m. in the 950 block of Apgar Street.

Officers from Oakland and Emeryville found multiple gunshot victims, two of whom died at the scene despite Oakland police attempting lifesaving measures. Two other people at the scene were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Both wounded people were in stable condition Sunday.

Oakland police said in a statement Sunday the deceased's identities are being withheld "pending notification to next of kin."
