UCSF 'Miracle' Treatment: Child With Rare Blood Cancer Saved
A little boy named Quincy is alive because his doctors never gave up on finding a treatment, after being diagnosed with cancer as an infant.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — On any given day in the United States, 42 families will hear these devastating words from a doctor: “Your child has cancer.”
Lara Stuart and David Lodge from Oakland heard these words not too long ago. Their firstborn son Quincy was only four months old.
