SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The Golden State Warriors closed out the first round of the NBA playoff series, beating the Denver Nuggets 102-98 Wednesday night. Stephen Curry, of the Warriors, scored a whopping 30 points, clinching the first round series in only five games.

It wasn't looking so hot for the Warriors, who were down by eight at the start of the fourth quarter. With only 1:33 left on the scoreboard, Curry converted a three-point play then went on to score yet again with only 29 seconds left. Nikola Jokic, of the Nuggets, also scored an impressive 30 points with 12 of them in the final 3:46. Jokic racked up 19 rebounds and eight assists, but it wasn't enough against Curry and the Warriors.
