SAN FRANCISCO — The Golden State Warriors are ringing in a new season Tuesday evening with some rings of their own to celebrate the team's NBA championship back in June.

The Warriors start the 2022-23 regular season Tuesday with a 7 p.m. game at Chase Center in San Francisco against the Los Angeles Lakers, but are encouraging fans to arrive early for Champions Ring Night, when the players will receive diamond-clad championship rings.

The ceremony is set for 6:30 p.m. in honor of the team's playoff run that culminated in its seventh title in franchise history with a 4-2 NBA Finals series win over the Boston Celtics in June.
