SAN FRANCISCO — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up all the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California’s top stories: Fire weather is expected to continue Monday, with a Red Flag warning issued for higher elevation portions of the interior North Bay for much of Monday.

Windy, dry conditions are expected to continue through Monday, with gusts around 20-30 mph in the valleys and coasts and up to 50 mph in higher elevations.

It's the continuation of a weather pattern that fueled several fires across Northern California over the weekend, forced evacuations in Sonoma County and the Sacramento area.

Hundreds of people were evacuated and smoke from the fire is expected to continue impacting air quality across the region Monday.

Additionally, hundreds of students walked out of Stanford University's commencement Sunday in response to the university's response to pro-Palestinian protestors' demands.

The walkout followed months of student protests including two encampments and most recently, on June 5, an occupation the office of the school's president.
