Woman, 70, Beaten And Kicked In Head In SF Housing Complex: Report
Four assailants took turns assaulting a 70-year-old woman after attempting to rob her in her housing complex.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 70-year-old woman was brutally beaten and kicked in the head by multiple attackers in San Francisco over the weekend, ABC7 reported.
The woman, who asked only to be referred to as Mrs. Ren, had been hiding in her apartment for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But on Sunday, she decided to venture outside.
"Yesterday was one of the first days for a long time she went out and this is what happened," she told ABC7 through an interpreter.

She said four juveniles asked her what time it was and she told them "5-o'clock." She wasn't sure if they understood her since she does not speak English and proceeded to show them her watch. The suspects then searched her body and demanded her iPhone.
When she refused, she said "they got really mad and pulled me down."

Video footage from ABC7 showed the suspects kicking her in the face. After she attempted to hide in the hallway, they followed her and proceeded to take turns assaulting her, the station reported.
