Woman Shot, Killed in SF's Mission District; Suspect Sought: Police

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A woman was shot and killed in San Francisco's Mission District early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The woman, identified by the medical examiner as 21-year-old Lisa Williams, was shot around 2:45 a.m. in the 800 block of South Van Ness Avenue, according to police.

Williams was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police said the suspect was a male in a black vehicle armed with a handgun. No detailed description of the suspect was immediately available and no arrests have been reported.

Williams had no known address, according to the medical examiner's office.
