Summer@Stratford Brings STEAM, Sports and Specialty Camps to San Jose This Summer

Stratford School's Summer@Stratford program is well underway, offering a wide range of camps for students from preschool through high school, spanning day camps, academic camps, specialty camps and sports camps. The program is designed to let families build a summer schedule around their child's interests, with weekly themes and single-subject options throughout the season.
Younger campers (grades 1–5) can join the Roar and Explore Camp, a day camp blending STEAM projects, arts, sports and team-building, with extended day care available. Families with preschool and Pre-K children can choose the JumpStart Camp, offered in morning or full-day formats.
Specialty camps cover an unusually wide range of interests — from robotics, coding and 3D design (LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Go, Microbit, Minecraft architecture) to creative pursuits like claymation filmmaking, fashion design, jewelry making, podcasting and AI-animated storybook writing. Campers can also explore themed STEAM adventures through partner programs like Challenge Island, Destination Science and Mad Science, or build confidence through public speaking, debate and entrepreneurship camps.
Stratford's sports camps — led by former pro athletes and specialists, including former Wimbledon player Laura Kassirer — offer sessions in basketball, soccer, tennis, pickleball and multi-sport rotations for grades 1–5.
Middle and high schoolers have academic options as well, including bridge courses, AP-level summer intensives, SAT prep, and clubs in robotics, entrepreneurship, writing and the arts.
Camp offerings, schedules and pricing are subject to change. For the most current information and to register, visit StratfordSchools.com/Summer.
