• Fall Semester Begins with Increased Enrollment and New Academic Programs (palomar.edu) — Palomar College in San Marcos is kicking off fall semester with slightly higher enrollment and several new career-focused programs, including building performance, forensic technology, and military training and development. Students can also tap into new fast-track transfer pathways, added healthcare and technical courses, and over $1 million in foundation aid for textbooks, technology, and scholarships.
   

• More than 4,000 graduate as CSUSM celebrates Class of 2026 (carlsbad.org) — Cal State San Marcos just celebrated its Class of 2026, with 4,352 students earning degrees and more than half becoming the first in their families to graduate. Ceremonies in May featured U.S. Sen. Adam Schiff and honored late North County photojournalist Dan Rios with an honorary doctorate recognizing his vast archive now housed at the CSUSM library.
