1K Fun Run at the Marin County Fair
Come to the fair and join the fun for the kid's 1K fun run hosted by Marin YMCA!
Once around the Lagoon!
Free to kids 12 and under. Starting at the Special Events Lawn (near the Giant Ferris Wheel)
Marin YMCA & Mercedes-Benz of Marin - Sponsor the 5rd Annual Kids 1K Fun Run. This FREE 1K event, designed for kids 12 & under, will be held on Wednesday, July 1st – Kids Day at the Fair, and will feature a timed run/walk once around the lagoon.
Help cheer on runners from the starting line at the Giant Ferris Wheel, around the midway, along the lagoon and across the finish line at the Special Events Lawn.

Race Day Schedule:
11:15 am: Check in & pick up race bib
11:45 am: Warm up and announcements
11:55 am: Lightning Lettuce (9-12 years old)
12:05 pm: Power Punch Broccoli (6-8 years old)
12:15 pm: Silly Dilly Green Beans (5 years and under –strollers welcome!)
Parents are welcome to run with their young children
