Police Seek 3 Suspects In Stun Gun Assault, Robbery In Fairfax
Police are searching for three suspects believed to have assaulted a man and stolen $2,000 in counterfeit money and marijuana.

FAIRFAX, CA – Police are searching for three suspects believed to have assaulted a man with a stun gun and stolen $2,000 in counterfeit money and marijuana from a group of people in Fairfax.
Fairfax police received several reports about young men yelling and running in the area of Marinda Drive around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Residents also reported the men speeding cars down the street.
While en route to the area, police received another report that a group had been jumped by people with guns.

Police stopped a vehicle fleeing the scene. The occupants were the victims of the attack, according to officials.
Police determined that the victims, who live in Salinas in Monterey County, came to Fairfax for an arranged meeting with the suspects. The victims, who did not cooperate with investigators, said that $2,000 in counterfeit money and an unknown amount of marijuana were taken from them.

"One victim was kicked and beaten by three suspects," Fairfax police Chief Christopher Morin said. "Additionally, he was hit with a large rock and assaulted with a stun gun. The suspects also beat on the victim's car with a gun before fleeing the area."
The assaulted victim suffered injuries to his face and hands. He was treated at the scene but was not transported to a hospital.
The suspects were described as two white men and one black male teen. Police have leads to the identity of at least one of the suspects.
