Hospice by the Bay will host a public reception and sale for Mill Valley Artist Marlene Caldes on Thursday, September 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. Ms. Caldes' series of colorful photographs on canvas - Temple Flowers, Gaia's Grace - was inspired by arrangements and bouquets she received while mourning friends who had died. The event will be held at Hospice by the Bay headquarters at 17 E. Sir Francis Drake, at Larkspur Landing. All proceeds from the exhibit and custom orders will benefit grief support programs at the hospice.
