AUDITIONS for Marilyn Izdebski Production of BYE BYE BIRDIE!

Auditions will be held at the Redwood High School Little Theatre, Doherty Dr., Larkspur. Those auditioning are asked to attend both days and to sing any song from BYE BYE BIRDIE or from any Broadway show.

The production is under the direction of Marilyn Izdebski with musical direction by Judy Wiesen.

Set in the 1950’s, BYE, BYE BIRDIE is the hilarious musical loosely based on the frenzied stardom of Elvis and the MacAfee family of Sweetapple, Ohio. In addition to Conrad Birdie and many other zany characters, BYE, BYE BIRDIE has many well-known songs, “The Telephone Hour,” “One Boy,” “Kids,” “Put on a Happy Face,” to name a few.

Rehearsals are held at Redwood High School in Larkspur Monday through Friday from 10:00am-1:00pm from June 22 through July 15. Performances are July 16, 17, 18 & 19.
