Resilient Neighborhoods: Be Part of the Climate Solution!
Resilient Neighborhoods is hosting an Introductory Meeting - come enjoy a hot drink and learn what you can do about climate change!
Cozy up with others, enjoy a glass of hot cider and some baked goods, and find out what you can do about climate change. It’s important here in Marin because 60% of the CO2 pollution comes from the residents.
The Resilient Neighborhoods program offers practical actions to live more lightly on the earth, reduce your bills & water usage, and make your family, neighborhood and community more resilient. In five facilitated meetings over a couple of months, you and your teammates actually reduce your household’s carbon footprints. Even people who have done a lot already find new actions to take. It’s fun, free and rewarding!
To date, 600 Marin residents have done the program and reduced 2.6 million pounds of CO2 emissions!
Bring along neighbors and friends! The event is open to folks from other parts of Marin as well!
