Boy, 9, Suffers Injuries to Mid-Section, Leg at Fourth of July Parade
The boy fell off the bed of the truck in the parade and was ran over by the boat trailer attached to the truck.

A 9-year-old boy was injured this morning at a Fourth of July parade in Sausalito, according to Sausalito police.

At about 11:30 a.m. officers discovered the boy had been run over by a tire of boat trailer at the intersection of Bridgeway Boulevard and Napa Street, police said.
Police said the boy had been riding in a bed of a truck when he fell out and was run over by the trailer attached to the truck.

The boy suffered injuries to his mid-section and leg, according to police. He was taken to Marin General Hospital, police said.
