Crews Rescue Critically Injured Person Near Camp Tamarancho In Marin County
BREAKING: Fire and police officials advise the public to avoid the area of Iron Springs Road in Fairfax.

FAIRFAX, CA – A person was critically injured when a skip-loader tractor crashed about 250 feet down a hillside near Camp Tamarancho in Marin County, authorities reported.
The crash occurred Monday morning in the area of the 700 block of Iron Springs Road in unincorporated Fairfax, according to the Fairfax Police Department. An occupant of the tractor was critically injured in the incident.

Two helicopters responded to the scene – one to extract the occupant and the other to transport the victim a trauma center, according to the Ross Valley Fire Department. Multiple units from Ross Valley Fire and Marin County Fire Department also responded to the scene.
The condition of the person is unknown at this time. No other information was immediately available.
