'Dine and Donate' Event Supports Marin Charity that Aims to End Child Slavery

"Make a Stand" was founded by a now 9-year-old Fairfax girl.

A Marin charity that aims to eradicate child slavery has partnered with a San Rafael restaurant for two fundraising events this week.

The Panama Hotel and Restaurant will host “Dine and Donate” events in support of Make a Stand, a group founded by, Vivienne Harr, a 9-year-old Fairfax girl.

The restaurant will donate a portion of its sales to charities at the 4 to 6 p.m. events today and Friday.
