Boy's Choir from Haiti, Les Petites Chanteurs, Perform in Ross

Since 2011 the Episcopal Diocese of California has worked in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti to support and rebuild Holy Trinity Music School. The Episcopal Church in Port-au-Prince educates 5,000 Haitian children without regard to religious affiliation or economic circumstances; 1000 of them receive advanced music training. Because of the quality of its teaching, Holy Trinity Music School is held in high regard by the Haitan government, which has offered it an enhanced and prominent geographic footprint in the nation's capital for the rebuilding of its classrooms and the associated performing arts center.

The first week of October Les Petitis Chanteurs, the boys’ choir of Holy Trinity Music School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and the chamber ensemble will be performing around the Bay Area. The concerts are free with donations graciously accepted.

The program will consist of Western choral selections alongside Haitian folk and classical music for choir and chamber orchestra.
