Film Screening of Russian River: All Rivers and Filmmaker Discussion
Attend a screening of the new film "Russian River: All Rivers" and the discussion with filmmakers that follows on Friday, April 17

Sustainable Fairfax is showing a screening of the new documentary “Russian River: All Rivers - The Value of an American Watershed,” on Friday, April 17th at 6:15pm at the Fairfax Women’s Club at 46 Park Road in Fairfax. After the film, special guests, including the filmmakers, will discuss the film and answer questions.
This film is especially relevant as the California drought worsens. Over 25% of the water we use in Marin comes from the Russian River. The film explores the diverse forces which have come to shape one of California’s iconic rivers — forces which impact rivers and watersheds throughout the world. It examines how the Russian River has been used, and what the consequences of that use have been. Beyond examining its exploitation as a resource, the film revels in the watershed’s profound, often forgotten, beauty. The film features water experts including Maude Barlowe, Brock Dolman, David Keller, Don McEnhill & Marty Griffin.
