FREE “Managing Fighting and Aggression” Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Discussion Group

Are you struggling to manage your child’s aggression? Are you unsure how to manage sibling conflict or how to respond to your child hitting you?

Triple P Discussion Groups are short, small group sessions that offer parents practical advice for tackling a specific problem behavior. This Discussion Group will focus on fighting and aggression and ways to address such behavior. Strategies will focus on creating a consistent response with clearly stated rules and consequences, as well as proactive ways you can prevent aggression before it happens.

What happens at a discussion group?
In a relaxed group session, your provider will give you tips and suggestions for addressing your child's aggression. You'll see short video clips showing other parents successfully dealing with the same issue and you'll be encouraged to share your thoughts with the other parents in the group, if you wish to. You'll also be given a take-home workbook with simple exercises and information to help you try your new strategies at home.

Groups are offered at no cost thanks to a generous grant from the Marin County Office of Education.

Pre-registration is required however as group size is limited.
