Habitat Restoration: Broom Pull

Saturday April 18, 9 AM to Noon

French broom removal along the Moore Trail. Meeting location is Marin Stables at the end of Wood Lane in Fairfax. Driving from downtown Fairfax, turn onto Bolinas Rd. Go ½ mile and turn left onto Porteous Ave., then take a right on Wood Lane following it all the way to the end into the stables parking lot. The Marin Stables will be serving “Cowboy chili” for the day’s volunteers at noon!

Restoration events are suitable for ages 8 and up. Volunteers under age 16 must have a parent present at the event. Volunteers under age 18 must bring a permission form signed by a parent or guardian. Contact us for a form.

Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants and dress for variable weather. Bring your lunch and reusable water bottle. MMWD provides breakfast snacks, water and tools.
