Hands on Tam Winter Work Day: Bald Hill Broom Bust

Saturday January 31 9am-noon (plus lunch!)

As part of a greater ONE TAM initiative, please join Marin Municipal Water District and Marin County Parks for our annual Bald Hill Broom Bust! We will focus on containing the spread of French and Scotch Broom. Ranger chili follows field work at noon.

-Meet at 9 am at the intersection of Yolanda Trail and Worn Springs Fire Road. (There are several moderately strenuous hikes or rides on could take to the site)

-A guided hiking group will leave from Deer Park at 8:30 am and a bike group will leave from San Anselmo Coffee Roasters at 8 am.

-Driving directions to Deer Park: from downtown Fairfax, turn left onto Bolinas Road. After 1/2 mile, turn left onto Porteous Ave, following it all the way to the end into the Deer Park parking lot.
