ExtraFood.org is a free, nonprofit food recovery program that is helping to end hunger and food waste in Marin. We’re looking for committed and responsible people who want to help us at the Sunday Civic Center Farmers’ Market. A team of 3-5 volunteers will collect and sort donated produce and then deliver it to two local nonprofits that get food to Marin’s most vulnerable people. Time commitment is 1.5 hours, once a month, 12:45-2:15pm. It’s a fun group activity! And we’ll be there to help you learn the process.
