“Not even a dent,” forecaster Steve Anderson said. “Won’t even register.”

Anderson said people may see some afternoon thunderstorms over the mountains and in the East Bay, but the rain will start decreasing after sunset.

Occasional heavy showers Wednesday are possible, but they won’t last long, Anderson said.

In the East Bay and North Bay, about .05 to .1 inches of rain has fallen. In the South Bay, that amount is about .01 to .03 inches, and in San Francisco about .01 inches of rain has fallen.

Anderson said forecasters don’t expect any more rain this week.
