MARILYN IZDEBSKI’S 150TH SHOW "THE MUSIC MAN”

Marilyn Izdebski Productions will present " THE MUSIC MAN " on APRIL 23, 29, & 30 at 7:30PM, APRIL 23, 24, 30 & MAY 1 at 1:00PM and APRIL 24 AT 5:30PM at The Playhouse, 27 Kensington Road, in San Anselmo. This is Marilyn Izdebski’s 150th show!

"THE MUSIC MAN," performed by young people from throughout Marin County, is directed and choreographed by Marilyn Izdebski with musical direction by Judy Wiesen.

The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize - this despite the fact he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall. Meredith Willson's " THE MUSIC MAN " is a certified all-American entertainment with some of the most famous and recognizable songs in Musical Theatre: "Seventy-Six Trombones," "Wells Fargo Wagon," "Till There Was You" and "Ya Got Trouble" to name a few.
