Marin Coroner's Office Investigating Body Found
The body was found in an unincorporated part of the county.

The Marin County coroner’s office is investigating a body found Thursday in an unincorporated area of the county, a lieutenant in the coroner’s office said.
Lt. Keith Boyd said the body was found at 11:03 a.m. in an open space near 3001 Lucas Valley Road.

“We are working through identification procedures at this point,” Boyd said in an email. “We don’t suspect foul play at this time but will consider all possibilities as the investigation moves forward.”
Boyd said a forensic examination would take place early next week.
